Aion 2 Kodex
Systems
The systems your progress is made of. Sorted by the question that matters most in this game: will I still have this in four weeks?
Permanent progression
Stays with you no matter what you wear. Invest here first.
Monolith — turning feathers into permanent power
The Monolith gives you skill points nobody can take away. Why it matters earlier than any piece of gear, and where the feathers come from.
Daevanion Boards — why regional quests are not side content
Roughly 500 combat power attached permanently to your character. The reason not to skip regional quests.
Belt — your longest-serving piece of gear
Base, rare, unique: the path through strongholds. And the point where you should deliberately stop instead of investing further.
Stop at: Unique — tens of thousands of enhancement stones per level after that
Revelation Amulet — 140 feathers well spent
Weapon damage, penetration, defense, HP. Alongside the belt, the best early investment there is — with the same stop rule.
Stop at: Unique — feed other systems first after that
Pantheon — free stats nobody pays attention to
Statues, colossi and frameworks tick away in the background. Green and blue pieces add up too.
Arcana — five cards, 320 combat power
Green 40, blue 60, unique 80. Why you fill all five slots before you go for quality.
Resources and the routes there
Consumed or replaced later — but without these you never reach the rest.
Odyle Energy — the resource that caps your evening
Without odyle energy a dungeon pays you nothing. How much you get, what to spend it on, and why this is the first planning question of the day.
Rule: One shared pool — what goes here is missing at transcendence
Enhancement — spread, do not stack
Why four pieces at +1 beat one piece at +5, and where Aion 2's enhancement rates are unusually generous.
Rule: Spread wide instead of pushing one piece
Manastone — every socket at once
Engraving rerolls every socket, not a single one. Why auto engrave is the most expensive button in the window when the goal is set too narrowly.
Rule: One attempt rerolls every socket — the narrower the goal, the costlier
Soul Binding — the second stat block
Every piece of gear carries a second set of stats that only grows once you bind it. And one button that costs ten times as much.
Rule: Only on pieces you keep — the binding sits on the item
Theostone — one effect, one weapon
The proc stone in the weapon slot. What it gives you, why only one counts, and why you do not engrave it into a weapon you replace next week.
Rule: One effect per weapon — identical stones do not stack
Transfer crafting — upgrade instead of starting over
The rule that inverts how you treat abyss and balaur gear: enhancement, amplification and soul binding carry into the next set. And what the step actually costs.
Rule: Guaranteed to succeed, and the result is soul bound to the crafter
Class Runes — stop at +1
Two good runes are worth roughly 80 item levels. Why you should still not push them past +1.
Stop at: +1 — from +2 on they can break on a failed attempt
Abyss — farm points, buy accessories
5,000 to 10,000 abyss points in five minutes. And why the money belongs in accessories, not in the weapon.
Stop at: Item level 4,300 — above that the zone removes you and deducts an hour
Transcendence — S rank or nothing
Timed, graded dungeons. From roughly 1650 gear score the next big step, and the source of your arcana cards.
Vakron's Sky Island — the big jump
From 1800 to 2200 gear score. The strongest accelerator in the game — and where your odyle energy is worth the most.
Aion 2 PvP — arenas, abyss, rank
Two arenas with no gear equalisation, an open zone with a ceiling, and a rank that decides which gear you are allowed to buy. How the three fit together and what to take first.
Stop at: Item level 4,300 in the open abyss — above it removal and an hour deducted
