Quick Start

Quick Start — your first 48 hours

What you do in the first two days decides weeks. Five minutes of reading, and you know what matters.

You have just started the game. This page takes five minutes to read and will probably save you two weeks.

The most important thing first

Picking a class

Short version: play what you enjoy. Every class works for PvE.

If making money matters to you, the ranger has a reputation for farming most efficiently. That is an argument, but not a reason to play a class that does not suit you — you will spend hundreds of hours with it.

Collect at level 10

Two things people routinely miss:

  • Activate growth support as soon as you are out of the tutorial. The free rewards are enough to unlock the premium tier straight afterwards — both are reachable free to play.
  • Take the free mount at level 10. Fast, smooth, costs nothing.

Controls nobody explains

Four small things that make daily play considerably nicer:

KeyWhat it does
/Toggles between action mode and classic MMO mode. Classic mode gives you a cursor and lets you click targets freely
VFlight mode
Double-tap spaceGlide mode — not the same as flying
Alt + 1Auto-paths to the next quest objective. Mounts you on the way

Alt + 1 is the most useful of those. Across hundreds of quests it saves a surprising amount of time.

What to watch while levelling

Four habits, and that is all it takes:

1. Collect feathers. They lie around the capital while you are there anyway. They go into the Monolith — which gives you skill points that stay long after your gear has been replaced.

2. Take sealed dungeons. Those are the question marks on your map. They give material for permanent systems and keys for cubes.

3. Do regional quests as you pass them. They look like filler and feed the Devenian Boards — roughly 500 combat power in the long run.

4. Spread enhancement wide. Four pieces at +1 rather than one at +5. While levelling, everything gets replaced anyway.

If you get stuck somewhere

  • Use scrolls — movement speed, strength, absorption, critical, attack damage
  • Use food buffs. Small, but early on they make difficult fights noticeably easier
  • Do not farm more gear; do sealed dungeons and regional quests instead. Those give you permanent stats rather than pieces you will swap out again

Two things that run daily

  • Do not miss daily logins. The rewards are good and cost you thirty seconds.
  • Keep an eye out for cubes. Hidden boxes in the world, often holding top-tier crafting material regardless of your level. First come, first served.

And then?

When you reach level 45, everything changes. From there it is about permanent progress rather than about getting ahead.

The roadmap shows you the whole route from here to 2400+ gear score. And the checklist tells you at any point what comes next.
