What changed recently

Aion 2 is a live-service game. This is what actually changed in the content — not just when, but what.

  • 30 SeptExpanded
Quick Start — your first 48 hours

Figures from a community spreadsheet for launch, each in its own box: dungeons can be entered 11 times a week without odyle energy, nightmare and transcendence recharge twice daily up to 14, and there are concrete abyss times. Unverified, but better than nothing on day one.

  • 30 SeptExpanded

The legion is called Rothschild and sits on Kaisinel, Elyos side. To join, open the legion window in game, hit Join and search for Rothschild.

  • 29 SeptExpanded
Early Access — servers, groups and the market

The server list is official: Europe gets eight servers in four pairs, one faction per server. Pick Siel and you always meet Israphel in the abyss. Plus the times -- advanced access opens 30 September at 13:00 UTC.

  • 18 SeptExpanded
Early Access — servers, groups and the market

Findings from the EU playtest: odyle energy refills 15 every three hours instead of every 48 minutes, and the gear score thresholds sit lower than in Taiwan -- Vakron from 1400 instead of 1800. The details sit as their own box on each affected page.

  • 06 SeptExpanded
Abyss — farm points, buy accessories

All four abyss zones now carry their entry condition. Upper is the only one with a ceiling, lower and middle demand a minimum item level -- so upper is the entry tier, not the end of it.

  • 06 SeptNew

New marking: everything here comes from the TW version. Where an official figure exists for the EU launch it now sits in its own aqua box -- for example parties of five instead of four, and the stat-normalised 10v10 battlegrounds Taiwan does not have.

  • 06 SeptNew
    Expedition — exploration and conquest

A new page on the expedition window: exploration and conquest, the dungeon list, and Krao Cave as the first destination -- with the five-minute enrage, the stagger check at 50 per cent and the three stones.

VerificationValues from the TW version, not yet verified against the EU version

The figures come from the TW version, which has been live for months. Where the EU client differs, that already sits on the page as its own box. From early access onwards each page gets verified in turn; the date then sits at the top of each page. Content last changed: 30 September 2026.

Discord — legion and updates

Two reasons to drop in. Both have to do with what is on this site.

Legion Rothschild

Our legion is called Rothschild and sits on Kaisinel, Elyos side. Joining works in game: open the legion window, hit Join and search for Rothschild. Behind it are groups for expeditions, Vakron and the weekly slots, without starting the search from scratch every time.

Updates and progress

Every change to the Kodex lands there, along with the question behind it. Plus what is being worked on and which figures are still open.

Who writes this

I have played Aion since the beta — back then on the Thor server as Revyls. This site is a passion project.

Assassin, level 50 in the Taiwanese version

What you read here comes from what I have played myself in the Taiwanese version, together with the sources on the credits page. If that makes getting into Aion 2 easier for you, the site has done its job.

What you deliberately will not find here: item databases, drop tables, stat lists. There are sites that have put far more work into that than would make sense here. The Kodex explains how things fit together — which order, which mistake, and why.
