Seven runs per week, a one percent chance at unique gear. That sounds like a bad deal — and it would be, if that were all of it.
The real value
Is not the one percent. It is what drops guaranteed: level 67 gear.
That is exactly what you need at this point. After the fire temple and Vakron you typically have a few strong pieces and two or three slots where something older is still hanging on. The horn den fills those gaps reliably.
About the one percent
One percent across seven runs means roughly a 7 % chance per week. Over ten weeks, about 50 %.
That is not a source you plan around. It is a bonus that eventually happens while you are there for something else.
